The materials we used today are:

What do you need to know to knit this stitch?

For this example we cast on 25 stitches so that we get two complete triangles with a 3-stitch separation on the base. When you do the cast on, remember that the base of the triangle requires 8 stitches, plus the number of stitches you want between each triangle.

We started with two rows of stockinette before beginning the pattern so you can see the design better.

Row 2 (and the remaining even rows). Purl all stitches.

Row 3. Knit all stitches.

Row 15. Knit all stitches… and you’re done!

Continue repeating rows 1 to 15 as many times as you like.

As you can see it is easier than it looks at first; once you master the SKPO you’re ready to tackle this stitch.

Now you just have to get started and show us how it comes out! You know we love to see your results on #WeAreKnitters.
