Hi knitters!
Today we want to share with you how to knit a fishnet stitch. This stitch looks a little similar to a net, is knit rapidly, making it very suitable in case we want to have our project grow in size fast (for example when you want to knit a present you didn’t think of before or that comes up last minute).
It is a reversible stitch and the key is to knit in a rather loose fashion without tightening the stitches. If it turns out to be hard for you to knit without tightening the stitches, you can simply use needles that are one or two sizes bigger than would be advisable for the wool you are using.

In order to knit this stitch, cast on an even number of stitches.
Row 1: *knit 2 stitches together and without slipping them off the left hand needle, knit them together again, but this time with the thread from behind. Slip the stitches of the left hand needle. * Repeat these instructions until you have completed the row.
Row 2: Knit all stitches.
Repeat these two row until you have reached the desired length.
The most complicated part of this stitch is to knit every increase from the front and from behind, but when you have done it a few times it works basically on its own. Remember not to tighten the stitches or you will not be able to knit them in the next row!
